Tour de France Film to Raise Funds for Cancer Research Ride

Chasing Legends.    The film explores “the passion, the pain and the triumph of the Tour de France” with an impressive array of high definition cameras which place the audience mid-peloton to witness firsthand the grueling effects of the 2009 Tour on Team HTC-Columbia.  We recommend you check out the trailer which is incredibly effective in portraying the eerie and even hallowed tone which the film so strongly portrays of “the biggest cycling event ever.” All proceeds of the screening will support the Bottlemart Smiddy Challenge, an annual charity ride in which 50 cyclists partake in an eight day, 1600 kilometer journey benefiting cancer research.  The team rides in honor of Adam Smiddy, a physiotherapist and triathlete whose fight with cancer ended tragically at the young age of 26.
