Ticketbud Ambassador wins Citizen of the Year Award!

ever-growing philanthropy efforts. Austin’s charitable culture is one of a kind and actually a significant reason Ticketbud calls the altruistic city it’s home. [caption id="attachment_5269" align="alignleft" width="192" caption="Our sweet home"][/caption] We have been fortunate that a well-known citizen named Dr. John Hogg has been a longtime ambassador of Ticketbud’s online ticketing software. Being involved with a plethora of organizations, he recognized and appreciated the service we provide to allow causes to avoid per-ticket fees and utilize easy self-service software. On a regular basis, he graciously opens his spacious home for fundraising events and for use by the countless nonprofit boards on which he serves, mostly as chairman or president.  John estimates that he attends or hosts about 200 events each year involving nonprofit causes! At last night’s Westlake Chamber of Commerce Gala in Austin, John was awarded the 2011 Citizen of the Year. Ticketbud was a table sponsor, and we applauded with excitement as a champion of our technology received the admiration he deserved. We wanted to thank Dr. John Hogg for all of the kind words, support, advice, and promotion he has given our application.  You have allowed us to assist so many local events with pocketing the proceeds they deserve from ticket sales! Congratulations from the TB Team!   ]]]]> ]]>
