The Best & Worst Times to Send Email (Infographic)

when you send out your emails and invites can be just as important as the invite or email itself. For those event organizers who live and die by open rates and click-through stats, check out this useful infographic from email software provider GetResponse. GetResponse analyzed more than 21 million emails sent by its clients. Here’s just a bit of what they found:

  • 23.63 percent of all emails are opened within the first hour; that number drops considerably as hours pass
  • Most emails are sent from 6 a.m. to noon; fewest occur from midnight to 6 a.m.
  • The hours that see the most click-thrus are 8 a.m. – 9 a.m., and 3 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • The hours that see the most opens are 8 a.m. – 9 a.m., and 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.
