Bundles and Discount Codes
Two of our best-but-sometimes-forgotten features are ticket bundling and discount codes. Ticket bundling allows you to bundle a number of tickets together for a discounted price. For example, if your tickets are selling for $10, you could set a bundle for two tickets for $15. Bundles encourage guests to buy a ticket and bring guests.
Discount codes are pretty self-explanatory: they’re codes your guests can enter when purchasing tickets to get a discounted price. You can use these discount codes as prizes for your guests’ engagement with social media, or you can give discount codes to family or close friends. Discount codes are easy for you to use, and are good for your guests.
Ticket ordering
Some of our customers have noted that, after creating an event with multiple tickets, the tickets show up on their event page out of order. This might seem like a bug or an error, but it’s actually not: it all has to do with the order in which you create your tickets.
For example, if you have a three-day event, you don’t want the tickets to be displayed as: Sunday, Friday, Saturday, do you? Well, when creating your event, always be sure to create the tickets in the order you want them displayed. Create the Friday ticket first, then the Saturday and the Sunday. They’ll display in that order.
Displaying a Flyer
Ticketbud gives you the option to fully customize your event page. If your event has a flyer, your first instinct is to put it in the “Event image” box on our event creation page. Here’s a tip, though: the “Event Image” box is more for
logos and not so much for flyers. This event image is just a quick snapshot of who your organization is. The way to do flyers properly is to put them in the body of your event details box. This way, flyers will show up true size instead of shrunken down.
