Operation Blue Santa helps thousands of Austin families by aiding them in making their holiday one to remember.  Every participating family is delivered a full Christmas meal as well as wrapped presents for the children who might not have received anything otherwise.  This special organization is run by the Austin Police Department and requires the community’s help to continue operating at the high level it has attained. This week, Thursday to be exact, you can do your part to help this great organization while having a great time too! The Cupcake Bar and Blo – Blow Dry Bar will be holding an event, “A Pink Christmas In July,” benefitting Operation Blue Santa! The fun-packed event will include, “sweets, drinks, a dose of pampering, and even a Tacky Sweater Contest at 7:30 with an awesome prize package for the winner!”  The event will also feature “music by myDJisthebomb.com, a holiday photobooth byStudio 563, SWAG bags, and even mingling with Blue Santa‘s own Mr. and Mrs. Claus!” This fun-filled event is not to be missed.  But if you aren’t able to make it, the organization would tremendously appreciate it if you are able to find a way to make even a small donation towards their efforts.
