Barcode Scanning with Ticketbud on Android

Installation. The Ticketbud Barcode Scanner is now available on the Android Market. The easiest way to install the application is probably to visit this post on your device and Click here. Otherwise, you can install the application through the Android Market by searching for "Ticketbud." This post shows you how. Configuration. Launch the Ticketbud application by selecting it from the Android launch screen. [caption id="attachment_1473" align="alignnone" width="320" caption="Here is how the Ticketbud application's icon appears on the Android launcher."][/caption] The first time you launch, you will be asked for your username and password. Carefully enter both. [caption id="attachment_1475" align="alignnone" width="320" caption="Enter your Ticketbud username."][/caption] [caption id="attachment_1474" align="alignnone" width="320" caption="Enter your Ticketbud password."][/caption] That's all the configuration that's necessary. Hit the "Back" button on your phone to exit the Preferences activity and you can start scanning. Place each barcode in view of the phone's camera and the Ticketbud application will scan the barcode and check with Ticketbud to determine if the ticket has been previously scanned.
