Sheer entertainment and Parisian chic from Jean Françaix and an elegantly enjoyable piano trio from Mozart.  Plus Katherine Hoover’s Summer Night, a work by the perpetually witty Jan Bach, and Michael Gandolfi’s out-of-this-world pieces to accompany six abstract films.

The piece Ravel called “music...stripped to the bone,” a chamber version of Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring, and a clarinet solo by Dalit Warshaw.  Plus Martinů’s jaw-dropping work featuring theremin, played by moving one’s hands near – but not touching – a pair of high-frequency antennas.
